Bengaluru Marathon 2014 - City's Own Marathon !

This October Bengaluru will witness its first even own Half and Full marathon. Many individual running groups have gathered to organise this event which would help Bengaluru'ens not wander around different cities to run their half and full marathons.

Also giving enough time to many, this event will be held on 19th October 2014 and course expected is from Kanteerava Stadium to Electronic City, which I see a flat course. With good practise in hand one must do their best.

Hyderabad Marathon 2014 - Tough to Challenge !

Hyderabad will host the 4th edition on Airtel Hyderabad Marathon. I consider this one of the toughest run, having the most uphills in the course. Having run it last two year, I might well consider it making a hat-trick this time. Being treated with the broken wrist, I am just back practising again. 

Well for the folks considering some challenge should definitely pick up this marathon, well organised and good course.

Pinkathon 2014 @ Bangaluru !

Over last few months, pulse of waves have surged into Bangaluru and swept off people towards running. Running to get into healthy lifestyles, running for a cause, running for passion and for some running is peace. People have now realised to put in some hours of their busy life into activity which can keep them healthy. Running events across the city, most of them for a cause, are spawning to get the people into a regime where they can target their run and participate in the events. Pinkathon is one such event conducted across India and has chosen Bangaluru as one of its hosts in this yearly event. Pinkathon focuses on breast cancer in women. More on this is available in the site details below. Registration for the event is still open. Event has different running categories, register yourself and run for yourself and for the cause.

Cycle day is celebrated in Bangaluru every last Sunday of the month. This time its falling on Republic Day of India 26th January. So lets be part of this event and celebrate Republic day and health.
