Ranga Ugadi is yearly theater festival at Ranga Shankara. Ugadi which marks the new year for Kannadigas across Karnataka is celebrated with much fervor and enthusiasm. I attended Ranga Ugadi in 2012 and it happened to be very exciting one with dramas, poetry and story telling. This year it has been scheduled on 7th April 2013. Passes are available at RS counter and are charged at 100 Rs except for the play Sankranti which has ticket price of 50 Rs additionally.
